Date: Monday 4th June 2012 from 12noon – 4pm
 
Venue: Ferry Road, High Street (between Lambarde Close and Ashby Close), New Bell Inn, Community Centre
The event has been funded by Halling Parish Council with support from various businesses in the village.

Dress Code: Red, White and Blue.
The High Street, Lower Halling was closed from 8am to 6pm on the day. Halling Hire helped by transporting elderly and disabled people to and from the venue. Rev Roger Knight, Rector of Halling, raised the Union Flag at 12noon to open the celebrations. A balloon race ended the celebrations at 4pm. Our village Beacon on the Mound (by the river) was lit around 10.30pm.

Food

Buffet food donated by Halling Parish Council will be placed down Ferry Road.
Tea, Coffee and cakes will be served in the Community Centre – Donated by Chris Beaney’s Bakery and Halling Parish Council.
Juice and biscuits have been donated by the Post Office Shop.
New Town Social Club will be holding various events over the weekend.
Hot food can be purchased from The New Bell Inn and The Homeward Bound PH on the day.
There will be an ice-cream van and hopefully a sea food stall too.

Entertainment
Various free stalls will be place around the venue and prizes have been donated by Halling Parish Council.
Frank Smith will be showing a historical history of Halling in the Community Centre.
Mark Henry will be hosting the event and inviting Halling residents to show off their hidden talents on stage.
There will be a circus workshop down by the Doctors Surgery.
The Rector is organising trips up the church tower on the day for adults and will be holding a Service in the morning.

Jubilee Memorabilia Coins are being given to the village children
